I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 This portion from Psalms 121 is a “song of degrees”. It’s the act literally, a journey to a higher place, figuratively, a thought arising. Wow! How deep do you want to go? How high do you want to pursue your God? This Psalm is declaring not only that my help is God but it also declares who he is! He is the maker of heaven and earth! He isn’t just my helper, He made all of it! The heaven and the earth! So there is no mistaking his power, authority, and his ability to help!

What a God we serve!

Trust him, lean on him, talk to him, and he will be there for you!
