Trickle

- Pastor Rusty - April 9, 2024

“1Then he brought me back to the door of the house; and behold, water Was flowing from under the threshold of the house toward the east, for the house faced east. And the water was flowing down from under, from the right side of the house, from south of the altar. 2He brought me out by way of the north gate and led me around on the outside to the outer gate by way of [the gate] that faces east. And behold, water was trickling from the south side.“ Ezekiel. 47:1-2

This passage is the beginning of Ezekiel’s prophetic vision of the river of God that was to come, that was going to bring healing and redemption. The water originated from within the temple from within the Holy Place. This wasn’t a palace with a throne room this was the temple with a Mercy Seat and an Altar. The water originates within the Holy place.🤔 There is a Mercy Seat and a Golden Altar of Incense there. I feel a connection to these two activities to the original source of this river. The Mercy Seat in conjunction with the Altar of Incense is a credible hypothesis. The prayer core of the Bride of Christ is a likely catalyst for an outbreak of the River of God. They are husbandmen and midwives that are to be first recipients of the fruits. Albeit they drink from a trickle instead of the river.🤔 (Think about it). Fire on a Golden Altar releasing incense in the Holy Place Night and day.

The water flowed eastward out from under the threshold of the door of the temple. It flowed down the steps to the south side of the Brazen Alter toward the Eastern Gate. When it came to the Eastern Gate it flowed on the south side of the gate and made its’ way eastward and southward toward the Dead Sea. By the time it gets to the Dead Sea it is a river that cannot be crossed. When it was near its origin it was only a trickle. When it came out of the Eastern Gate it was only a trickle. Most believers can discern a move of God when it’s a river, but most Christians cannot discern a move of God when it is a trickle! Its’ Origen is ALWAYS a trickle! It never begins a river it always begins a trickle. Learn the principle of recognizing a move in its’ infancy. Simeon recognized Jesus when He was eight days old. (Luke 2:25-35)

“ Holy Father, give us sight in this season that we might see the cloud the size of a man’s hand and recognize the coming of an abundance of rain. Give us INSIGHT into the Kingdom and its’ multifaceted intricacies. In Jesus Name! Amen!” Pastor Rusty
