WAIT FOR IT!

-Aug.18. 2023

Holy Spirit spoke to me this morning that many are growing weary because things are not going as they expected and they have have become too "idealistic"!

"Idealistic" defined: characterized by idealism; unrealistically aiming for perfection.

However. For the believer, full of Holy Spirit, "sold out" to Jesus and living in His Presence -- your Faith and awareness of Him in everything that's done; is Supernatural! Wait for it!

Paul in Philippians 4 (Remember Paul is in prison) writes to us to encourage us not to be fearful or too idealistic.

• "Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude.

• "Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ.

• "Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind.

• "And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always." (Phil.4‬:‭6‬-‭8)

You may, like myself, have had many prophetic dreams and visions, and you have lived with great anticipation of those dreams being fulfilled - NOW! But I believe Holy Spirit is saying, "hold these things with open hands!" What God has shown you is only "in part."

• "Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away.

• "For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face.

• "My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood.” (1Cor.13‬:‭9,12)

Yes! There is "so much more"!Better than any idealist dream or vision we may have. There is the completion of all things found only in THE PERFECT ONE -- JESUS!

You may have waited 25 (or more) years, and haven't yet seen your dreams fulfilled. But that time is not wasted!

Don't quit dreaming! Don't discard what you know God has said! Now is the time to see the fulfillment of His promises!

• "But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it." (Matt.13:16)

Don't despair, for when we read Hebrews and study the "Heroes of Faith" listed in this chapter, we read:

• "And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised...

• "Because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect." (Heb.11:39-40)

“For the Lord’s training of your life is the evidence of His faithful love. And when he draws you to Himself, it proves you are His delightful child.” (Heb.12‬:‭6‬‬‬)

Your life in Christ is not "idealistic," yours is a faithful life, "so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised."

(Heb.10:26)

YES! WAIT FOR IT! His promises are true! He is faithful to His Word! "And you will know that I am the Lord; Those who hopefully wait for Me will not be put to shame." (Is.49:23)
