Day 4: - Walking in Sanctification – A 4-Day Devotional Series with Pastor Belinda🌷

The Lord says for us to be holy because he is holy.

“Be ye holy; for I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:16 That can be achieved by walking it out every day. The decisions we make will result in us being like Him or not. It’s our choice.

“Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — Romans 12:2

He says be transformed by renewing your mind. How do we do that? We do it by:

* Saying no to sin

* Saying yes to God

* Renewing your mind

* Walking in obedience

That brings transformation to the carnal man. Sometimes that carnal man does not want to die. He wants his way. I heard my grandpa preach this one time when I was little he said “An old man was talking to his grandson about the struggle inside every person. He said, "Inside me are two dogs fighting each other. One is evil — full of anger, jealousy, pride, bitterness, lust, greed, and selfishness. The other is good - full of love, peace, kindness, humility, faith, compassion, and truth."

The grandson thought for a moment and asked, "Grandpa, which dog wins?" The old man replied, "The one I feed." We want to feed the right spirit. It is how we transform and begin to look like Jesus.

Holiness is not a burden—it is freedom.

God is not restricting you—He is refining you.

Let me pray with you.

“Lord, help me walk in holiness today. Strengthen me to choose what pleases You in every moment. Transform my mind. Transform my heart. Help me to be like you. In Jesus’ name, amen!
