“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” Luke 10:18
Jesus is describing an event that predated His birth by thousands of years, When Jehovah God cast Satan from heaven. When this took place one third of the host of heaven were cast out as well. “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;” 2 Pet. 2:4. “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Rev. 12:7-9. Revelation 12 is obviously describing events that had already taken place. “And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:” Rev. 12:4.
The “original” rebellion was crushed and no plan of redemption was set in motion for the fallen. The fallen was simply preserved for judgement. “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” Jude 1:6.
The Bible says “rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft.” The root of all witchcraft is rebellion at the authority of God. Rebellion against God is the root core of all witchcraft and is seen as witchcraft in the eyes of God. So why would God ever let rebellion against His authority back into His domain. If you are functioning in rebellion against His authority you are embracing “original sin”. Remember you’re embracing the “Kingdom” not the democracy, a kingdom that has a King. Dear friends consider this, how can you belong to Him and still function in rebellion to His authority in your life? If you’re wondering where the root of all the calamity surrounding your existence is generating from, 🤔 Look no further. Rebellion to His authority is as witchcraft in His eyes. The spirit of rebellion is at the core of the corruption in all societies and cultures. The idea that we can accomplish any favorable end without God is birthed out the seed of a rebellious nature. We are constantly asking God to involve himself with plans that did not originate with Him is manifest of the rebellious nature, to think we can come up with an idea that is equally advantageous to an idea that is birthed from the Lord.🤔 If God once, through war, removed rebellion from the heavenly realm, why on earth would He ever risk letting rebellion back in. Take heed to what I am saying and consider this.🤔
“ Father, remove rebellion from are hearts. Remove it from our nature. Help us to submit to you in all things in Jesus name. Amen.”
