FREE AT LAST ‼️ Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty! We are Free at last!

”At last we have Freedom, for Christ has set us Free! We must always cherish this truth and firmly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past."

(Gal.5‬:‭1‬ ‭TPT‬‬)

Yes! Jesus gave His Life to set us Free from sin, sickness and sorrow; everything that we could ever experience in this human flesh that would separate us from a Loving Heavenly Father!

Yes! He did it on the Cross! He said from that Cross, as He bowed His head in death, "It is finished," initiating, by His blood, a New Covenant. (Matt.26:28)

So Paul is addressing in his letter to the church at Galatia, some who having said they received Christ; yet, they had been persuaded by Jewish law-keepers, to be circumcised, according to the Old Covenant.

So Paul calls them out! "Listen! If you are counting on circumcision to make you right with God, then Christ will be of no benefit to you... "For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the Law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have forsaken God’s grace to you." (Gal.5:2,4)

How can Paul express his love and concern for these people he loves dearly? Much like any pastor might: "What has happened to you foolish Galatians? Who has put you under a spell?

Paul continues: "Did God not open your eyes to see the meaning of Jesus’ crucifixion? Was He not revealed to you as the crucified One? So answer me this: Did the Holy Spirit come to you as a reward for keeping Jewish laws?

"No, you received Him as a gift because you believed in the Messiah. Your New Life began when the Holy Spirit gave you a new birth. Why then would you so foolishly turn from living in the Spirit by trying to finish by your own works?“ (‭‭Gal.3‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭TPT‬‬)

"So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the Law. For the Scriptures say, 'It is through faith that a righteous person has life.'"

(Gal.3:11)

Hallelujah! "Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed us with the same blessing He promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith." (Gal.3:14)

We are FREE IN CHRIST and we can't go back to that old way of living! He gives us so much more in a "New and Better Covenant" by His Blood‼️(Heb.12:24)
