“What fools my people are! They have no idea Who I am. A company of half-wits, dopes and donkeys all! Experts at evil but klutzes at good.” (Jer.4:22 MSG)
Do you hear it? these days, you constantly are hearing about evil strategies and attacks from the Evil one -- aimed at you! But we should not be surprised!
Some "believers" sound as if they are desperate to find "a way!" Or that we have no escape from the confusion berating us everywhere!
Refer back to Jeremiah chapter four above! God says "my people are 'fools -- experts at evil' but 'careless with what is good!'"
How are we to be STRONG - when it appears that we are being attacked from every side? First, STOP! Don't look around at the trouble! Look within! ("Greater is He that is in you!" 1Jn.4:4)
Then, "Cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God!Bring your thoughts into obedience to Christ! (Ask Him what He knows, "Whose report will you believe?")
In Ephesians 6:10, declaring our position, in Christ, we read, "Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might!"
However, Paul also instructs us, "Put on God’s complete set of Armor; (He has already) provided for us, so that you will be protected as you stand against the evil strategies of the accuser!
"Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that still attempt to hold this dark world in bondage.
"Because of opposition, you must be clothed in the full armor provided by God; you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for greater things and will rise Victoriously in Christ!
- "Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in Triumph.
- "Put on Holiness as the protective armor that covers your Heart.
- "Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.
- "In every battle, take Faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one!
"Embrace the power of Salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies.
"And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the 'Spoken Word of God.' Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer, at all times.
"Pray the blessings of God upon all His believers.
"And pray also that God’s revelation would be released through me (Paul speaking - but we can also ask) - every time I share the wonderful mystery of the hope-filled Gospel."
Yes, "pray that I may Preach the wonderful news of God’s Kingdom with bold Freedom at every opportunity."
Paul went on to say, "Even though I am chained as a prisoner, I am His Ambassador"
”So may God shower His peace upon you, my beloved friends. And may the Blessings of faith and love fill your heart from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus, the Messiah‼️"
Again and again - every time you feel an attack - Remember God's Goodness, Strength and Power! He's what drives you! He's what protects you! He is your Strength and Power! Jesus is all you need!
