Enemies? Give them to God

I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

2 Samuel 22:4 ESV

David says he called upon the Lord and God saved him from his enemies! So many times we try and handle enemies our own way. Talk to the Lord and let him know your troubles. Ask him to change your enemies or if they refuse to change then ask him to remove them! He will give you victory over those who choose to be your enemies.

We have been to the cave in Israel where David cut off a piece of Saul’s robe just to let him know he could have taken his life but chose not to. Saul had disobeyed God and chose to hate David, the boy who God anointed to replace Saul. God does care when people are against you. Bring them before the Lord and let Him take care of them. Ask God to show you if you are at fault. Then be willing to change if need be. Listen to the Lord, he cares for you.
