“The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.” 2 Tim. 2:6
The Lord spoke a unique word to me Saturday night in a prayer meeting in Forsyth. He said, “I’m going to heal the healers.” I’m still quantifying what this means, but my first impression was that those who function in healing must first experience healing and those who function in deliverance must experience deliverance. Hence the “husbandmen must first be partakers of the fruit.” There is a classic under appreciated teaching of Jesus that states, “Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” Despite the hypocritical overtones the teaching isn’t saying don’t help your brother with his vision, it is simply saying remove the obstruction from your own eye first. Ministry is natural when you’ve been the recipient of what you are suggesting. God is going to heal His healers in this season as the Ekklesia prepares for its best season yet. A little housecleaning is welcome. Let us pray.🙏 “Father, heal your healers, bring excellence to your ministry and to you house.
