“And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common.” Acts 10:15

I was praying with a young man this week and I could see a spirit of shame had enveloped him. The Holy Spirit spoke these very words to me for this situation. “What God has cleansed do not call common.” When I spoke this release came. When God originally issued this instruction He was speaking to Peter about what was about to happen with the gentiles. Peter was required to come into agreement with heaven that he (Peter) was no longer allowed to call unclean what God had cleansed. This was particularly tough for Peter because of fourteen hundred years of religious inbreeding in the Jewish culture that the gentiles were unclean and alienated from from the covenant of God.

We too are compelled to come into agreement with God that what He has cleansed we are no longer allowed to consider as impure. The Greek word used in the above passage for cleansed is katharizo. It is where the modern English word cathartic comes from. The Greek word koinos is translated common, impure, unholy. We are in a timeline where the bride and the Holy Spirit are coming into agreement more and more. One thing you need to come into agreement with is, “What GOD has cleansed you are no longer allowed to call unholy, impure, or common!” If you are compelled to believe everything God has spoken about himself, you are equally compelled to believe everything God has spoken about you.🤔 Cast off the spirit of shame in this season for what God has cleansed, you are no longer allowed to call unclean.
