🔥Passion for Jesus🔥

What consumes your heart? What excites you most? What do you naturally talk about when given the opportunity? The answer to those questions often reveals your greatest passion.

Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). Our lives preach a message long before our mouths ever speak. People notice what we celebrate, what we pursue, and what we make time for. If someone watched your life for a week, would they see a passion for Jesus? Would they recognize that He is the One who fills your thoughts, directs your decisions, and shapes your priorities?

When I posted this picture taken at the baptism yesterday I had no idea the response it would ignite! At the time of this writing this photo of Tara, a young lady who is passionate about Jesus, has had 2,811 views. The photo was not taken by me, I am in the water in the background. But they captured the passion that shines thru her face. Something about it calls to your spirit man. It catches your attention!

Passion for Christ is a daily devotion that seeks His presence, obeys His Word, loves others, and reflects His character. When our hearts burn for Jesus, His love becomes visible in our words, our actions, and even our attitudes, and definitely our faces! It is contagious!🔥 Like Mary Magdalene, who could not stay away from the empty tomb, and Paul the Apostle, who declared, “For to me, to live is Christ” (Philippians 1:21), our passion becomes impossible to hide. I don't mean to embarrass this one but when people see you do they want what you have? Is it life giving or do they see dry religion with no fruit?

I want to reflect Jesus the way she does! I want more of Him! More of Jesus until I am over flowing!

Today, ask yourself: If people only knew Jesus by watching my life, what would they learn about Him? May our greatest passion not be success, comfort, or recognition, but knowing Jesus and making Him known.

We had an awesome time yesterday. So many were baptized going down in the old man and coming up the new man! They left it in the water! I am so proud of each and everyone of them! I think there may have been 30+- who laid it down! Each one with a passion for Jesus! So, what's your passion? Can people tell that you are in love with Jesus? Let's burn for Him!

Let's pray,

Lord, ignite my heart with a fresh passion for You. Let my love for Jesus be evident in every conversation, every decision, and every act of kindness. May others see Christ in me and be drawn to Your goodness. Help me to live each day with a heart fully devoted to You. Amen.
