Have you ever stopped to consider that God not only loves you, but He also rejoices over you with joy? What a beautiful picture of the Father's heart! The God who created the heavens and the earth is not distant or indifferent toward His children. He is in our midst, mighty to save, faithful to deliver, and present in every season of our lives.

One night I was awaken to the most beautiful singing I have ever heard. It was not in English, it was a language I did not recognize. As I opened my eyes I saw an angel standing at the foot of our bed. It was the most relaxing, most peaceful, most wonderful sweet sound! I tried my hardest to remember the sounds the words made but when I tried to remember I couldn't. The experience was priceless! ♥️

Invite the Lord into your room when you lay down to sleep. He loves His children and He is a "hands on Father". Meaning He is there for us whenever we need Him. When we feel weak, He is mighty. When we feel overwhelmed, He is our deliverer. When we struggle to see our worth, He reminds us that we are deeply loved. The Scripture says He will “rest in his love.” His love is not something we must continually strive to earn. We can quiet our hearts in His presence, knowing that His love is steadfast and His promises are sure. The Lord's heart is not merely to rescue us from trouble, but to draw us close and surround us with His presence.

Whatever you are facing, remember this: The mighty God is in your midst, His love surrounds you, and His heart rejoices over you. Rest in His love, trust in His strength, and let your heart be still in the presence of the One who sings over you.

Let's pray;

Father, thank You for being mighty in my midst. Help me to rest in Your unfailing love and trust in Your saving power. When I feel weak or discouraged, remind me that I am precious to You. Quiet my heart in Your presence, and help me live today in the joy of knowing that You rejoice over me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
