     “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33

       While turmoil seems to be on every hand there is peace in the Lord.

        Jesus never promised that we would live without trouble. In fact, He plainly told us that tribulation would come. But He also gave us a promise greater than the trouble: “In Me you may have peace.”

     Our peace is not found in everything around us being calm. It is found in knowing who is with us in the middle of the storm. When circumstances change, Jesus does not change. When we cannot see the way forward, He already knows the way.

Then Jesus says, “Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We don’t have to live defeated by what we are facing because Christ has already won the victory. Our circumstances may be difficult, but they do not have the final word—Jesus does.

    Today, give your worries to Him. Let His peace guard your heart, and remember that whatever you are facing, you are not facing it alone.

Lets pray;

     Jesus, thank You that my peace is found in You. When trouble comes, help me keep my eyes on You instead of my circumstances. Remind me that You have overcome the world and that I can trust You completely. Fill my heart with Your peace and courage today. Amen.
