“For the choirmaster. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout unto God with a voice of triumph.” Psa.47:1 BSB

“Well, there it is. Biblical reference for something that happens very natural in our praise and worship gatherings and in the WarRoom. The releasing of sound… sounds of praise… sounds of victory (Hey!)… sounds of warfare. Releasing sound that is intimidating darkness. From the blast of the shofar to the clapping of hands and the Shout for joy. These are “sounds” of declaration of God’s victory from the walls of Jericho to the battle of Gideon, “Release the sound” of victory. Christ has overcome sin, death, and the grave! Raise up a shout that a King has arisen and He is in the camp. We are not in this battle alone! The Captain of our salvation is in our midst! When you are facing a bad report you are not alone.

Rooah!

The Hebrew word for shout is “rua”, it is pronounced “Rooah”. You can’t make this up… it is the sound that soldiers make in the military. Ooorah!

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.”

1 Thes. 4:10 KJV. Pastor Rusty
