And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.” Malachi 4:5-6 ESV
Here at the Glory Barn we are in our sixth night of the 24/7 praise/prayer gathering and we just visited our sixth mountain of influence the Mountain of Family. I am probably more personally invested in this mountain of influence than any of the other mountains of influence that we have visited. We have made decrees that prodigals would come home, and God would restore families and heal broken relationships between fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, etc.. I believe you’re going to see significant movement on this front across the region and across the nation. This is the year of the Lord’s favor (Isa. 61:2) and Grace being multiplied (2Pet. 1:2). One of the results of this working from Heaven downward is prodigals will come home. 😃 If you are the primary prayer intercessor for your family, this mountain is for you. For years I’ve heard suedo spiritual ministers (who don’t really have a prayer life) guilt the body of Christ about prayer for your family by saying, “You’re always praying, “Lord bless me and mine!” While leaving everybody else behind!” Well here’s what I have to say to you prayer-less preachers who pass off cliches as spiritual slogans. Nobody has more invested in the spiritual outcome of my family than I do. I’m certainly not going to expect some prayer-less preacher to have a heart to intercede for my family with the intensity in prayer than I will. Nor do I expect anyone to have more spiritual investment in the eternal outcome of my family than I do.🤔 Don’t let Anyone dissuade you from interceding for your family at any level of prayer. Preachers use that phrase to compensate for their own inability to intercede for the masses. 🫢
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,” 1 Tim. 2:1 Pray baby, pray! – Pastor Rusty
