The Free Gift 🎁

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom. 6:23

“And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.” Matt. 2:11

Christmas is the season of giving. The gift 🎁 of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Most English translations render this “the free gift” of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Theologians create a loophole that seems to allow you to receive this gift 🎁 without receiving the Christ. This is obviously a false narrative that the gift can be separated from Christ himself, when Christ is the gift.🤔 But Matt. 2 tells us of the gifts that magi gave to the child Jesus. There were three mentioned by name… myrrh, frankincense, and gold.

Myrrh represents pure worship in biblical typology. The gift from the heart ❤️ of true worshipers. Frankincense represents thanksgiving; true gratitude from a thankful heart ❤️. Being truly thankful will forever keep you in proper perspective. You will never be in true alignment without true gratitude🤔. Gold represents true faith in biblical typology. The gift of true faith is of greatest value when being offered back to Christ from a pure ❤️ heart.

This Christmas give unto the Lord a true gift 🎁. The one true gift He keeps asking you for. Give Him your heart 💝 without holding back. Feel the love of God being poured into your inner man as you finally release the one true gift that He wants more than anything. Give Him your heart 💝 and step into His amazing peace that surpasses all understanding.🤔 Say this with me, “Lord Jesus, I give you my whole heart, I hold nothing back, receive this gift from my hands to yours, in Jesus name Amen!””
