“4But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:4
It has been said that the modern church is air conditioned, but the early church was “prayer” conditioned. Keeping the main thing, the main thing takes a lot of focus in this 21st century culture. Prayer and preaching the word comes before politics and end-time scenarios. Why I would have to step DOWN👇 from my call to accept a political position. It would not be a step up or a step sideways, but it would be a step DOWN from the call to preach the gospel. Don’t put your hand to the plow and then look back. There is no greater call on earth than the call to prayer and the call to preach… just sayin’…. Amen!
