The Tent of Meeting ⛺️

- Pastor Belinda - Sept. 25, 2026
“The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend.” — Exodus 33:11
There was a place Moses went when he needed to hear from God—the Tent of Meeting. We are holding meetings under the tent at the Glory Barn tonight, Friday night from 1-9 and Saturday 9-3. There will be worship, prayer and decree. You are welcome to join in and come and go as you need. Last night was the beginning, and oh my! It was wonderful! The presence of our Lord just came right down! 🔥 Come by and spend some time before the Lord‼️
Now lets look at the tent where Moses met with the Lord God Almighty‼️
Exodus 33 tells us that Moses would take the tent and pitch it outside the camp. Anyone who wanted to seek the Lord could go there. When Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stand at the entrance, and the Lord would speak with Moses. Wow! I would have loved to have been in that meeting! 🔥
This was more than a place Moses went to receive instructions. It was a place of relationship, intimacy, and communion with God. God wants that communion with you!
Moses didn’t simply rush into God’s presence, tell God what he needed, and leave. He went there to meet with Him.
Moses understood the value of God’s presence so deeply that when God told him to continue toward the Promised Land, Moses essentially said, “If Your presence does not go with us, don’t send us.” (Exodus 33:15)
Moses didn’t want the promise without the Presence. We don't want to ever be without His presence!
What good are our plans, our opportunities, our accomplishments, or even our blessings if we lose the awareness of His presence along the way?
Sometimes we need to step away from the noise of the camp and enter our own “tent of meeting.”
Turn off the distractions.
Lay down the burdens.
Open your Bible.
Begin to worship.
Listen.
Pray.
Wait upon the Lord.
Father, I want to meet with You. Teach me to value Your presence above everything else. Help me to quiet the noise around me and make room for You to speak. Give me a heart like Moses—a heart that says, “If Your presence does not go with me, I don’t want to go.” Let my prayer time become a place of genuine relationship with You. Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening. Lead me, guide me, and let Your presence go before me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
