“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18

There seems to have been a conspiratorial effort by Satan to remove, squelch, cast doubt, and destroy this singular message in the Bible. That the gospel would be accompanied with signs following. Satan wants to removed the supernatural expectation of the believer. There are at least 3 Greek manuscripts (two of which are early Greek manuscripts) that have omitted verses 9 through 20 from Mark 16. The most prominent being the codex siniaticus and codex Vaticanus. While this may seem authoritative in and of itself, understand that over 99% of Ancient Greek text do include Mark 16: 9-20. Over 1600+ early Greek manuscripts do include Mark 16:9-20. Moreover Iranaeus around 180 A.D. quoted from Mark 16:19 in his writing “Against Heresies”. (Iranaeus was a student of Polycarp who was a student of John the Beloved.)

I’ve been hearing on the wind of the Holy Spirit this phrase. “These signs shall follow them that believe”. Who is going to do this? Those who believe!

“And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark 16:20.

He is going to confirm His word “with signs following”. God is going to punctuate the gospel with signs following! I’m hearing from the Holy Spirit that you have come into such a time as you will witness “With signs following!” Amen PastorRusty
