Through the Eyes of Faith!

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)

Every day we are faced with a choice: Will we view our circumstances through the eyes of fear or through the eyes of faith? The world constantly points us toward the problems, the darkness, and the impossible. Faith, however, fixes its gaze on the greatness of God rather than the size of the obstacle.

When the twelve spies entered the Promised Land, all twelve saw the same giants, the same fortified cities, and the same challenges. Yet only Joshua and Caleb saw the situation through the eyes of faith. The other ten allowed what they saw to determine what they believed. Joshua and Caleb allowed what God had spoken to determine what they saw. The difference wasn’t the landscape—it was their perspective. We see Branson as a city of healing. As a place of refuge and peace. A place that God comes down and communes with His children. Goshen, God's city! Is ther darkness? Yes but it is leaving in the name of Jesus! Who has more power? God? Or will you give Satan more power because you fear? We choose faith!

When we view our city, our state our country we must keep our focus on what God says not what man says. We must speak in faith for changes to happen. Those changes will not come thru a prayer meeting of defeat. Note the problem then turn it into a faith act. If we focus on the dark, the evil, the bad we give life to the fear and hopelessness. It's like the old saying that there was a person requesting prayer for someone. They ask for prayers for them then said, "well let me tell you why they need prayer" and the negative flows. As a warrior in intercession you need to fly above "what it looks like" and open up faith thru our words as we speak life and hope.

Faith does not deny that difficulties exist. Rather, faith declares that God is greater than every difficulty! The writer of Hebrews reminds us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith reaches into the unseen realm where God’s promises already exist and lays hold of them before they become visible.

Our words play a powerful role in our walk of faith. Scripture teaches that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). While our words do not create God’s power, they do reveal what fills our hearts and either agree with His promises or continually rehearse our fears.

Negative talk keeps our attention fixed on the problem. Faith-filled speech keeps our attention fixed on the Promise Keeper.

This does not mean we pretend everything is fine when it isn’t. It means we choose to speak in agreement with God’s Word instead of allowing fear, doubt, or discouragement to become the loudest voice in our lives.

When we pray according to God’s will and stand in faith, we align ourselves with what He desires to accomplish on the earth. Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

Speak light over our city! Speak a place of healing, salvations, and deliverances! Have faith not fear! We are door keepers. we have authority to host His presence or doom and gloom.

Today, refuse to let negativity become the language of your journey and your prayer. Instead, fill your heart with God’s promises. Speak hope instead of despair. Speak life instead of defeat. Speak faith instead of fear. As your eyes remain fixed on Jesus, your confidence will grow, your peace will deepen, and your life will increasingly reflect His kingdom.

Let's pray,

Father, help me to see every circumstance through the eyes of faith instead of fear. Guard my heart and my tongue from negativity, doubt, and unbelief. Let my words agree with Your promises and my life reflect confidence in Your faithfulness. Teach me to focus on Your greatness rather than my obstacles, and to trust that You are working even when I cannot yet see the outcome. May Your will be accomplished in my life, and my city as I walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
