“Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free.” Psalm 118:5 ESV
Are you tormented by anxiety? Does it cripple your life? It can be broken. Jesus can set you free. We have ministered to several people here of late who were tormented with anxiety. Guess what, Jesus has set them free! They are no longer bound.
These tormenting spirits want to stop you from having a full life. Usually it will start with an experience of some nature that caused you fear. Then you experienced that fear rise up inside if you again. As this occurs over a period of time a spirit of fear/anxiety will attach itself to you. Then you will notice more and more situations cause this fear and panic begins. You panic that you will have anxiety and the mountain of fear grows.
God doesn’t want his children living with a spirit of fear and anxiety. You can be free. Prayer addressing these spirits will bring deliverance and peace. You can’t just pray a general prayer covering many things and not addressing specific spirits. Call them out by name. I will lead you in prayer here. “Father, I ask in the mighty name of Jesus that you deliver me from a spirit of fear and anxiety. Father I ask for forgiveness for all of my sins. Forgive me for not trusting in you for peace. Fill me with the Holy Spirit right now. Fear! You must go now! Anxiety, you must go as well! I plead the blood of Jesus over my body. Lord fill me with your peace. In Jesus name, amen!”
