- Pastor Rusty - Nov. 21, 2023 “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed [in Me] and has been baptized will be saved [from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment]; but he who has not believed will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.” Mark 16:15-18 Amplified Bible.
Many translations use the phrase that, “These signs will follow them that believe.” It seems relevant to associate the idea of “signs following” with that of “going.” The KJV says, “Go ye into all the world.” If your faith can’t get you to move on His behalf, why have faith that signs will “follow.” Your crippling the process by not stepping out in faith in any context. When a stream stops moving it becomes stagnant, much like your faith. If your faith can’t get you off your couch don’t have strong expectation of signs following. 🤔 The first part of signs following is the act of motion on your part. Second is preaching. Telling people about Christ is the platform for miraculous things to take place. You are scattering seed and giving the Father something to work with. It is faith in Christ, not faith in signs that you need.
“Faith in Christ will make you free from sin, and death, and poverty!
Poverty of soul, the void within! Christ has come and freed from sin!” - Pastor Rusty
