“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will become like wool.” Isa. 1:18

To me, this verse is the Old Testament equivalent of Ephesians 2:8 in the new Testament. It is God’s invitation for you to come and sit down and communicate with HIM in a way that will result in your salvation. It is God making a reasonable request for you to sit at a table with HIM and reason with HIM. 🤔 Think about it… salvation begins with this open line of communication. You get to lay your complaint before HIM and you have to allow HIM to respond. The word reason is from the Hebrew word “Yachah” which also implies to argue.🤔 God knows if you will reason with HIM you will find HIS response to be quit intelligent (eye opening). Most people refuse to engage God in conversation because they might find out that they will agree with HIM. I met a Pentecostal denominational pastor one time. As we began to visit I mentioned Bill Johnson was going to be at a local Church that was affiliated with His denomination. He expressed that he was dubious of Bill Johnson. I asked if he had met Bill Johnson. He said, “No”. I asked if he had ever gone to a meeting Bill Johnson had spoke in. He said, “No”. I asked why he felt the way he did about Bill Johnson. He said he had heard from another fellow pastor negative things about Bill Johnson and that he wasn’t sure about him. I said I’ve met Bill Johnson and have set at a table with him. I said, “ I promise you, if you spent five minutes with that man he would be your enemy.” So it is with God if you would spend five minutes with HIM, HE would not be your enemy.🤔 HE has invited you to sit at a table with HIM and communicate (yachah) and see what HE will do.
