Coverings Pt.

1 - Pastor Rusty - Jan. 9th, 2024

“Let them make for me a sanctuary, so that I may live among them. According to all that I am showing you the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings you must make it exactly so.” Exo. 25:9

“The tabernacle itself you are to make with ten curtains of fine twisted linen and blue and purple and scarlet; you are to make them with cherubim that are the work of an artistic designer.” Exo. 26:1

It’s important to note the God is expressing a desire to have a habitation among His people. Man was to make this sanctuary according to the pattern that YeHova specifically describes to Moses. The sanctuary was to have four coverings, the first of which is described in Exodus 26. It is the most interior canopy that was only visible from the interior of the tabernacle in the Holy Place. It was to be made of fine linen (presumably white) with blue, purple, and scarlet embroidery of cherubim (the plural of cherub), angelic presence in the Holy Place. The sanctuary that was to host His glory had four coverings that were required for this task. Only one was visible from within, only one was visible without. This inner canopy represents the realm of glory in the Holy Ghost that is accessible to the believer that is willing to function there.🤔 These cherubim are visible only from within. What is sad in modern culture is that we don’t know what these images actually looked like. They cannot be replicated even in Jewish culture. They don’t know what these embroideries looked like. Wow! How alien the heavenlies have become to modern Christianity. God is going to rectify this and allow the bride of Christ to reacquaint herself with this inner sanctuary again. When we move more and more away from man made political structure and more into the heavenly pattern we are allowed to enjoy more and more, God and His entourage, the heavenly host.🤔 “Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.” Heb. 8:5. Let us pray, “Father open the windows of heaven and pour out your Glory. Cause you’re bride to be “Glorious within!” (Psa. 45) In the name of Yeshua… Amen!” Pastor Rusty
