How to experience the presence of God thru faith - Part 8

Faith brings us to a place where we can experience God's presence. As we have faith we are expecting God to Move.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV says “But without faith it is impossible to please him…”

Faith honors God because faith takes Him at His Word. It says, “God is who He says He is, and He will do what He has promised.” Faith does not simply believe that God can move—it expects Him to move.

Hebrews 11:6 continues, “for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Faith brings us into the presence of God with expectation. We come believing that He is near, that He hears us, and that He responds to those who seek Him.

Faith positions our hearts to receive what God has promised. It moves us from simply knowing about His promises to trusting Him for their fulfillment. What He has promised to do He will do!

When we come before the Lord in faith, we honor Him—and we create room in our hearts to experience His presence. Faith says, “Lord, I believe You. I trust You. I am expecting You to move.”

As you pray today, come to God with expectation. Believe His Word, trust His promises, and expect Him to move.

Let me pray with you. Jesus I ask that you help each person that is reading this today. Draw the closer to you than they have ever been. Make faith arise! Faith that you are our God and we believe your promises! Faith that when we lean into worship and praise we will feel you near! In Jesus name! Amen!
