“In return for my love they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer.” Psa. 109:4 BSB

This amazing response came from David when describing one of the worst of human turmoils. This is called the “Psalm of the Slandered.” His response was, “I am a man of prayer”. I love the language of the BSB (Berean Standard Bible) because it describes one of the most powerful identities in the Bible… Being a man of prayer. David was a warrior, he was a worshiper, He was a king, but he was a man of prayer. This is a subtle key to success in the kingdom of God. Not just prayer, but being a man of prayer. This is an identity of the faithful in Christ. I would rather train you to be a “man of prayer” than a laborer for Christ. If you allow yourself to become a man of prayer “your labor will have eternity in it.” A.W. Tozer.🧐 Let your life become a constant release of incense (incense is the prayers of the saints) Rev. 5:8. Being a man of prayer will active true faith within you. It will become the greatest resource in time of testing. Most professing Christians prayer life is reactive. A man of prayer will become “proactive.” There is no access to deeper life without prayer. Let this become your legacy… “He was a man of prayer.”
