Knowing God Makes It Possible
“But the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.”
— Daniel 11:32b (KJV)
We’ve all heard the phrase, “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.” In this world, connections can open doors that knowledge alone cannot. But in the Kingdom of God, this saying holds even deeper truth. It’s not just about having information — it’s about having intimacy with the One who holds all power and wisdom.
You can study theology, memorize scripture, and understand doctrine — and still miss the heartbeat of faith: knowing God personally.
Moses knew the laws of Egypt, but it was his encounter with the burning bush that changed everything.
David wasn’t the most qualified soldier, but he knew God as his shepherd, and that gave him courage to face Goliath.
Paul was educated beyond most of his peers, but he counted it all as loss compared to the worth of knowing Christ (Philippians 3:8).
God is not looking for people who simply know about Him — He wants people who truly know Him.
When you know God:
• You walk in peace in the middle of storms.
• You pray with boldness because you know who you’re talking to.
• You don’t panic at closed doors — because you trust the One who opens and shuts them.
Make it your life’s focus to “know” Him as much as possible. Go after His heart! Make your number one goal to live in a manner that caters to the presence of the Lord.
Let me pray for you:
Lord, make yourself real to us. Show us how to walk in a manner that will draw your presence. Give us the desire to know you more! In Jesus name! Amen!
God bless,
