Knowledge of His wil

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” Col. 1:9 KJV

Being filled with knowledge of His Will is crucial for the success of the believer. Knowing God’s will in a matter allows you to move and pray with confidence simply because you understand His will. His will becomes the desired outcome in your pursuit. It handicaps the believer both in prayer and life in general when you don’t understand what the will of God in a matter. This is where simply reading the word of God gives you a grid and model and allows you to see how God thinks. It allows you to move beyond Christian slogans and repetitive rhetoric (that are mostly powerless) and see what God thinks and does.

“How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.” Psa. 119:9. Whether or not you are able to get what you are praying for, you at least know the desired outcome is in accordance to His Will. The knowledge of His Will allows you to swing for the fences in prayer and moves you away from powerless unbelief. Not understanding God’s will for an outcome constantly creates shrouds of doubt in the mind the believer that is trying to pray for a desired outcome. So my friend don’t hobble yourself coming out of the gate as you run this race by not understanding what the will of God is in a matter or situation.🤔

“Holy Father, my prayer is that we might be filled with the knowledge of your will in every matter, in every spiritual contest or conflict. My prayer is “on earth as it is in heaven”. Your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”.
