“I searched for a man among them to repair the wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, so that I should not destroy it. But I found no one. Eze. 22:30
It has been said that there are two men God is searching for… a man after his own heart and someone to repair the wall and stand in the gap. It would be an unbelievable combination for someone to be both. It’s as if the Church tries to fill every design that was never commissioned and omit the ones that were.🤔 God is looking for someone to repair the wall and to stand in the gap. These are two different functions but one should not take place without the other. If you can receive it, when you pray and intercede for your family, community, nation, and world you are doing just that. You are building a wall to protect God’s vineyard. That includes your family and community. You are interceding that God would protect these from all types of invasive forces (that includes sickness and poverty). If it can be perceived as detrimental you can intercede against it. Thus you are building a wall of intercession. When we worked at the border of Mexico in 2005-2011, the Lord compelled us to begin to build a wall of intercession concerning a darkness that was coming, and boy did it. The cartels went to war with each other and the violence poured into this nation as well, it was spiritual darkness manifested. Rick Joyner once said, “The spiritual life is not like warfare… it is warfare!🤔 There is a necessity to build a hedge of protection through intercession. Chuck Pierce understood this and went at lengths to build a spiritual hedge of protection from Brownsville to San Diego. He to could see it coming.
REPAIR the WALL
“REPAIR the WALL!” Says the Lord. If you’re a father and you are not interceding for your family you are missing your calling. Look at the example of Job.🤔
“His sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each one on his day, and they would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and consecrate them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my children have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually.” Job 1:4-5 Job’s intercession resulted in a hedge being built around his house. “9Then Satan answered the LORD and said, “Does Job fear God for no reason? 10Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.” Job 1:9-10
Stand in the Gap
When the Lord says, “stand in the gap”. He may be talking about the gap between God and the land. I also look for men and women to stand in the gaps in the wall itself.🧐 Fill in the gap! When a prayer warrior goes down it blesses me to see someone step up and fill in the gap. It’s like some scene from Braveheart where William Wallace tells them to hold the line when being faced with a Calvary charge. “Hold, Hold!” Stand in the gap. I believe the intercession taking place in the Ozarks surpasses he intercession that was taking place in Israel at that time. The Lord has a man and a woman “that will repair the wall and stand in the gap before me and the land”. Wow! Amen!
