Jesus had just fed the five thousand, dismissed the crowd, and sent His disciples into the boat. As the winds rose and the waves battered, Jesus came walking to them on the sea. Matthew 14:22–33 (NKJV)

In the middle of fear and confusion, Peter said: “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” (Matthew 14:28) Jesus simply said: “Come.” (Matthew 14:29) Peter stepped out. He walked on water — something impossible — until fear set in and he began to sink. Yet, even in his sinking, Jesus was there to rescue him.

“We need to get out of the boat when Jesus calls — going against the fear of sinking, and trust that He will not let you drown.”

This past weekend we set up a tent at the State of the Ozarks Festival. There were those who were experienced at doing one on one out reach, and those who were new at it. It takes guts to talk to people “cold start”, meaning you are the one starting the conversation. Y’all did so good! I truly believe God was greatly pleased! The results and testimonies were awesome! God gave an idea and look what happened! Proud of all of you who stepped up and stepped out of your comfort zone! YAY! God!!!!

When given the choice ALWAYS GET OUT OF THE BOAT!
