Walking in Love -

“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.” — Ephesians 5:1–2, NASB

The greatest way to remove hindrances is to walk in love. Love covers offenses, breaks chains of unforgiveness, and reflects Christ to the world. When love fills us, there is no room for bitterness, pride, or fear.

When we walk in the love Christ has given to us we begin to truly walk in the kingdom. Sometimes we have to choose to walk in love when we encounter people who are not walking in God’s love. We encounter people that are lost, discouraged, have no hope and may not can even see a way out of their pain. When we make the choice to reflect the love Christ has shown us they can then see Jesus.

Let’s pray.

Lord, let my life be marked by love. Teach me to walk as Christ walked, forgiving, serving, and loving others as You love me. Help me to reflect Jesus to those who don’t know you. Let my life be a life of light to a dark world.
